John L. Pennings, MD
Surgical Bariatrics Northwest

Dr. Pennings graduated from the University of Minnesota and completed his surgical residency and advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship in Portland, Oregon. He is the founder and director of MIS Northwest and Surgical Bariatrics Northwest.

In nearly 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Pennings has performed well over 1000 advanced laparoscopic gastrointestinal procedures. He is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He is committed to surgical excellence and compassionate patient care.
