Community

Our local community is comprised of three prominent cities, Coeur d’ Alene, Post Falls and Hayden. The local population is approximately 95,000 people.

There are three local hospitals: Kootenai Health, located in Coeur d’Alene, is a district hospital that provides a range of medical services. North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital, in Post Falls, is a long-term acute care hospital. Northwest Specialty Hospital is a specialty hospital that provides a wide range of medical and surgical services.

Northwest Specialty Hospital is committed to giving back to our community. Without the support of our community we would not be able to provide care.

It is with that gratitude in mind that we have formed the H.O.P.E. committee, whose sole purpose is to serve the community by donating our time and resources to help those in need.

A few of our charitable events include Back to School Supplies Drive, Coats for Kids, Tom’s Turkey Drive, Toys for Tots, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, Boys and Girls Club as well as local sports sponsorship and others.
